I love having access to millions of recipes online. I don’t, however, love the essays that often come with them. Thank goodness for the invention of the “Jump to recipe” button. This piece about Apple Crisp won’t make you roll your mouse down seventy-two times to get to the recipe. Maybe only two or three.
All I want to do is give credit where credit is due. The recipe originated from my former sister-in-law, Gini. I made it regularly. Then a few years ago, my ex-husband suggested “It’s really good but next time, make it with less apple and more crisp”. Best feedback ever! And that’s how this phenomenal recipe emerged. A family favourite and a Thanksgiving tradition.
